“Say it. Tag it. Tweet it. Blog it. Love it.,” is my new tagline for my life. It fully incorporates everything I do in my life to stay connected with those I surround myself with. Close friends and family mean the world to me, even though I may not show it all of the time, it is something that drives me to want to do more in my life.

People often laugh at me because I will say hold on I am tweeting that, or I am sharing that, or I am checking us in on Facebook. They know I love it, and I want to believe they understand the importance of the whole concept of social media. However I know that they don’t!

I have a couple of friends that do, including my friend Krystal who has recently become obsessed. Could that have been a little monster I created? Yes. Would I call it a monster? No. Staying connected is something that is of huge importance to myself and I love to be able to share what I know with others.

I love each part of the new media realm, including social media. I wish that people would realize that if you use it in a way like myself, it really can be a more useful tool to yourself. My suggestions, cut your FB friends list to only those you really want to stay connected with, those you actually talk to in real life. The thing to remember here if if you are a friend of someones, they can also see what you are doing. If you don’t want them to, don’t be friends. Don’t think it will hurt anyones feelings, they probably won’t even notice because they don’t really care about you.

Throughout this series of posts I will explain each part of my new tagline. Including how it works, the do’s and don’ts that I have learned, and of course how and why I think each one is important. I will look over several types of social media, and just know that YouTube can easily fall into any of these categories. Perhaps the say it part. Although that is not where that originated from. It came from the fact that usually you are talking with friends and you say something you think is worth sharing.

Here are some astonishing facts about Social Media I believe you will love to watch. So interesting!

Say it = Real life (YouTube?), Tag it = FacebookTweet it = TwitterBlog it = Blogging, Love it = It makes life better.

Hopefully you will gain insight into why I love this. What is your favorite outlet to tell people how you feel?
